Since 2021, Douglas Kaplan (SDL 2020), our US & Canada Chapter Chair 🇺🇸🇨🇦 , has brought his contagious energy to the region— with a focus on fostering connections among local alumni and elevating Sup de Luxe network visibility in North America.

Douglas Kaplan began his career as a Japanese language interpreter before rising through the ranks of the global luxury watch industry, holding executive roles at prestigious brands like Movado, Fendi, Swatch Group, and now serving as Chief Commercial Officer at Bob’s Watches

Recognizing the shift from traditional retail to digital platforms, Douglas pursued an MBA in Luxury Brand Management in the Digital Age at Sup de Luxe to strengthen his digital and e-commerce acumen. The program bridged his expertise in heritage luxury with modern digital strategies—critical in today’s rapidly evolving market.

As Chapter Chair U.S. & Canada, Douglas is dedicated to growing the Sup de Luxe network’s visibility and influence beyond French-speaking regions. Based in Miami, he is building a stronger alumni network focused on mentorship, collaboration, and cross-market engagement, reinforcing SDL's global presence and supporting graduates in achieving long-term success.

A heartfelt thank you Douglas for reaching out to us and leading the North American chapter with so much passion!
