On July 2nd, the Sup de Luxe network came together to celebrate a year of success
Some evenings capture, on their own, the spirit of a network. Last July 2nd, the Maison de la Recherche hosted the Summer Party 2026, and from the very first minutes, the atmosphere set the tone: warm reunions, new encounters, and that particular ease of summer evenings when people finally take the time to connect.
The evening was also an opportunity to reflect on the importance of our network, founded 35 years ago by Alain Dominique Perrin and Michel Guten, and today embodied by the Association des Diplômés de l'Institut Sup de Luxe and Thibaut de la Rivière, President of Sup de Luxe. This year, a number of students were also invited to discover this world, a wonderful chance for them to step into an intergenerational network and forge their first connections with the alumni who carry the school's reputation forward today.
A year of success and achievement turned toward the international stage
It was a fitting moment to look back on the year's major achievements. This year, Sup de Luxe's story is being written brilliantly on the international stage: 25% of students are now international, a share that reflects the school's growing influence well beyond our borders.
Two new programs are enriching this momentum: a Bachelor's in International Luxury Business and Economics, designed for the new generation of talent, and a Global Executive MBA in Luxury Leadership, aimed at those looking to accelerate their career trajectory. London, New York, Shanghai, and Vietnam are becoming natural stops on the Sup de Luxe journey.
This ambition is echoed in the leading rankings: the school earned all 4 Palmes d'Excellence in the Eduniversal 2025 ranking of top business schools, a recognition that reflects directly on every diploma, wherever its holder is in the world.
Publications and academic influence
The school's influence also extends into research, with publications dedicated to the luxury industry and participation in international conferences in Berlin and Dubai, an academic contribution that strengthens Sup de Luxe's global recognition year after year.
A workshop at the heart of the evening, presented by Maison Jean Rousseau
Among the highlights of this Summer Party, the workshop hosted by Maison Jean Rousseau, an exceptional leather goods house, captivated the audience. For a moment, guests journeyed into a craft passed down from generation to generation: leather worked entirely by hand, every gesture telling a story, every noble material carrying the memory of a trade built on excellence. Before the admiring eyes of guests, a simple hide gradually transformed into a precious object, the promise of a luxury that takes its time to be desired.
A warm thank you to Anaïs Bordier (class of 2016), Brand Manager at Maison Jean Rousseau, and to the whole team present, for so generously sharing their passion, their exceptional materials, and the story of a house that fully embodies the values of excellence so dear to the Sup de Luxe network.
The network keeps moving forward, and telling its story
The network is now partnering with Luxe Infinity for a first-of-its-kind media collaboration. Thanks to Didier Gottardini (class of 1997) and this partnership, our alumni's journeys and achievements will find a natural home in the luxury and lifestyle trade press, through articles and interviews, a wonderful way to give every talent in the network the visibility their journey deserves.
A pioneering book on circular luxury
Other news drew attention: the publication of Luxe circulaire, les solutions made in France, a pioneering collective work on circular luxury, edited by Marta Martcheva, Executive Director of Sup de Luxe. The project enriches the sector's thinking, driven by our own community and coordinated by Marie Seignolle (class of 2004), President of the Association. Several network alumni contributed to the book, including Anaïs Bordier (class of 2016), Chloé Chicha (class of 2025), Alice Darmon, Sophie Dutat, Yara El-Haddad (class of 2015), Delphine Gilet (class of 1997), and Elisa Niemtzow (class of 2003), further proof, if any were needed, that the Sup de Luxe network is also shaping the future of luxury.
The Table Book Directory: a career opportunity
Finally, the evening was the occasion to announce the 2027 edition of the Table Book Directory. With 35 graduating classes and more than 3,250 alumni across 70 countries worldwide, the project confirms its place as a true bridge between network members. Beyond visibility, it is a genuine career opportunity for every graduate: getting noticed by recruiters and industry houses, creating new business opportunities, and strengthening one's presence within a global community. It's also an invitation to update your profile on the network's website to be included in the next edition.
